Avo & Fig Toast

Makes: 1 portion (serving size as shown)

Ingredients

  • Bread of choice, to toast

  • Butter, to brush on bread

  • 1 tbsp fig jam

  • Pinch of ground paprika

  • 1 small avocado, thinly sliced

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

  • Kale chips

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350 F. Lightly brush the slice(s) of bread with butter, and toast for 10 min. Flip around, and toast for another 5 minutes, till lightly browned and crisp.

  • Smear the fig jam and sprinkle paprika over it. Layer avocado slices, season with salt & pepper, and crush kale chips to garnish.
