Cherry ‘Nola

Makes: 1 portion of a 12 oz jar (serving size as shown)

Nothing beats a good frozen breakfast, other than brain freeze.

Ingredients

  • 12 cherries, pitted (freeze overnight before blending, for a granita-like texture)

  • 1/2 tsp sugar (optional, only add if cherries are sour)

  • 1/4 cup (or more) plain Greek yogurt

  • 3 - 4 tbsp granola

Method

  • Blend cherries to a smooth, thick consistency to make the cherry purée. Whip the yogurt for a smooth and slightly fluffy texture. Layer yogurt, cherry purée, and granola in any sequence of choice. Enjoy!
