Watermelon Shandy

Makes: 2 servings

Ingredients

GROUP A: RIM GARNISH

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp sugar

  • 1/2 tsp ground paprika

  • Lemon wedge

GROUP B: SHANDY

  • 1 1/2 cups watermelon chunks

  • 1 medium navel orange, juiced

  • 1/4 lemon, juiced

  • 16 oz. pilsner of choice

Method

  • Mix all the spices from Group A into a uniform mixture. Line the rims of 2 pilsner glasses (16 oz. each) with juice from the lemon wedge, sprinkle the mixture over the rims, and chill the glasses for 20 - 30 minutes.

  • Juice the watermelon, orange, and lemon. Divide between the 2 glasses and top off each glass with the pilsner. Give the shandy a quick swirl and enjoy immediately!
